Which Festive Drink You Should Make?  (Air Signs)

Gemini:  Tiramisu Martini

This decadent dessert cocktail combines two of your favorite things, Gemini:  coffee and chocolate!  This drink is perfect finish to your holiday dinner, when everyone is seated around a roaring fire and sharing all the latest gossip.

All you have to do is pour Kahlúa, RumChata, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, and heavy cream into a cocktail shaker with ice, and give it a good shake.  Then, strain your drink into martini glasses to serve, and top with light, fluffy whipped cream (homemade, if you have the time).  You can garnish with (and we recommend opting for some of all of these) chocolate syrup, ground coffee, chocolate shavings, or ladyfingers, and enjoy!

You’ll love how much you can play around with the flavors in this drink.  You can add some vodka or cold-brew coffee to give it more of an espresso-martini vibe, or even throw in some mascarpone mousse into the shaker to give it a more authentic tiramisu taste!

To make this drink non-alcoholic:  Mix the heavy cream with chilled espresso, chocolate syrup, and a little sweetened condensed milk in place of the liqueurs mentioned above.  You can also substitute DaVinci Gourmet Classic Coffee Liqueur Flavoring Syrup (which is non-alcoholic and also comes in a sugar-free version) for the Kahlúa, but it isn’t necessary.

Libra:  Kir Royal

Even though it’s made with minimal ingredients, this festive drink sparkles with class and sophistication — making it the perfect drink for your next holiday get-together, my dear Libra.  It looks so elegant and refined that your guests will never know that it only took you a few minutes to put together.

Start by pouring crème de cassis — or a different berry-flavored liqueur of your choice — into a champagne flute.  If you can’t find crème de cassis, you can try it with crème de mûre (a blackberry liqueur) or Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur (known for its smooth taste).

Then it’s time to add the bubbles!  The sparkling wine you use is up to you.  Prosecco is a popular choice for its similarity to Champagne and its light, sweet flavor — not to mention, a good bottle of Prosecco costs much less than a good bottle of champagne.  That being said, we know how much you love to go all out for your loved ones, Libra.  You are more than welcome to splurge for champagne — the taste is more refined, and it’s sure to impress your guests!  Or, you could also try using Cava, the Spanish version of a sparkling wine, if you’re looking to try something different!  It has more of a savory flavor, as opposed to sweet, with delicate notes of citrus.

Once you’ve added your sparkling wine, garnish with raspberries or a lemon wedge and serve immediately — that’s it!  It’s really that simple.

To make this drink non-alcoholic:  Simply substitute the crème de cassis with raspberry or blackberry syrup and combine with sparkling cider!

Aquarius:  Grinch Cocktail

With its vibrant green color and bright red sugar rim, this festive drink is sure to catch the eye of your party guests this season.  While this drink looks like a Christmas dream, its tropical flavors are a refreshing contrast to what you’d normally expect around the holidays — but that’s what makes this drink appeal to you, Aquarius!  You love the unexpected!

The cocktail itself is comprised of vodka, Sprite, and Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch — but it’s that bright red sugar rim that really makes this drink stand out!  First, dip the rim of your glass in simple syrup, then roll it in red sanding sugar or turbinado sugar.  The large crystals of sanding sugar are great for decorating your glass because they reflect light — it sparkles!

You can mix the cocktail right in the glass over ice or in a large pitcher for serving.  This drink will be the perfect addition to your annual How the Grinch Stole Christmas watch party — just make sure to top each drink with a maraschino cherry for an extra pop of red — and enjoy!

To make this drink non-alcoholic:  simply omit the vodka, and add in some extra Sprite!
