Taurus: Plenty of open seating
The one essential in every Taurus household is to have a large “hang-out” space with plenty of open seating so that all your friends and family can gather together.
You like your couch to be the center of your home, so whichever one you choose is very important to you.
It has to be sturdy and dependable (like you), and you want it to be as large as possible so it can accommodate everyone.
If you live in a smaller house or apartment, that’s okay! Invest in a smaller couch with a few armchairs and comfy pouf ottomans that can easily be rearranged as needed.
If worse comes to worst, we know you’ll always have some folding chairs stored on standby, just in case!
They may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but they get the job done in a pinch. After all, in the home of a Taurus, everyone deserves a seat at the table.
Virgo: Fuzzy blankets, faux-furs, & all things cozy!
Ever the gracious host, Virgos like to do everything they can to ensure their home is a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
There must be a fuzzy blanket within reach at all times and plenty of cushy throw pillows to snuggle into.
You tend to lean towards more subtle earth tones, but I encourage you to try contrasting with some brighter colors, like purple or cream! Maybe even some funky fur patterns, if you feel like stepping out of your comfort zone.
Virgos also tend to utilize essential oils and diffusers in order to create a more homey atmosphere (whenever you aren’t baking something delicious, that is).
You want to make sure your home smells good so that your loved ones will be tempted to stay as long as they’d like, and you always have a guest room or an available space on the couch if it gets too late to go home. Your loved ones know they are always welcome to stay the night and that you’ll be up making pancakes in the morning!
Capricorn: Lots of storage space & organizational tools
In the house of a Capricorn, everything has its place, which is why it’s important for you to have plenty of storage space.
Clutter is a big no-no in your household, so you’re probably obsessed with colorful cubby organizers and have gleaned plenty of new storage hacks through TikTok, like using magnetic spice jars or how to perfectly organize beneath the sink.
Whether it be wire-rimmed baskets, plastic bins, or cloth containers, Capricorns usually have a system in place to ensure each and every inch of their home is utilized efficiently.
One thing I’d also recommend — if you don’t do so already — is to keep a large wall calendar or white board in the room that is the hub of your home, whether that be in your kitchen, living room, or even your bedroom.
You like to know you are on track, and this will help give you a visual of your busy schedule in a place you’ll always pass by. Color coding every week can be very therapeutic and can ensure you stay on track — plus, you’ll know if you are up-to-date at a glance!
