Aries — Still at the store

You can search all you want, but you’ll never find the Christmas gifts hidden by an Aries.  Masters of deceit?  Not exactly.  They just haven’t even bought their gifts yet — let alone hidden them!

Don’t get it twisted.  It’s not because they aren’t thinking of you… you know how sporadic your Aries can be!  They’re just spur of the moment people!  And it’s likely nothing has jumped out at them yet. 

You’ll probably see them making a mad dash to the local mall or frantically browsing Etsy a few days before Christmas.  They can’t help themselves!  It’s difficult for them to plan ahead.

But rest assured, an Aries will always come through!  Your present will arrive safely under the tree come Christmas morning — even if they have to pay an exorbitant amount for overnight shipping to make it happen!

Taurus — In the mail

While their issue isn’t usually buying gifts last minute, a Taurus will have a tendency to cut Christmas gifts close.  But that’s not because they’re putting it off until Christmas Eve, but rather that the gifts themselves that a Taurus selects are always chosen with great care — and these take time to be found and delivered.

I mean, your new handmade blanket from Zimbabwe (fair trade certified and ethically sourced, of course!) may have been ordered the first of November, but it takes six to eight weeks to craft and ship.

Besides, let’s be honest.  If a Taurus had your gift within arm’s reach, they would’ve given it to you already!  Don’t blame them for their inability to keep it a secret.  They’ve just spent so long thinking about what you’d like best and imagining your face when you open your present — they just can’t wait! 

Gemini — At a family member’s house

It’s not that Geminis don’t trust you not to go snooping…  they just don’t trust you not to go snooping — haha!  They won’t leave anything up to chance.  No, your gift probably never even made it inside their house.  They either had it shipped directly to a family member’s place, or dropped it off there themselves the day they purchased it.

And I’m not talking about their parents or sibling’s house, either.  Oh, no — Gemini’s will give all their Christmas gifts to their great-aunt Bertha, who lives two hours away and doesn’t know how to use the internet.  All this, just to ensure you’ll never find your Christmas gift before they are ready to present it to you — which is going to be exactly at the time you are supposed to get it, no earlier.  But what else can you expect from an evil genius?  You’ve got to respect their craftiness!

Cancer — The Attic

Trust me, hiding your Christmas gift up in the attic is not so much because they’re afraid you’d find it, but more because your sweet Cancer wants to give it you really, really bad.  Like Taurus, Cancers struggle with not giving you your Christmas gift right away!  They care way more about watching you open your gifts than opening their own.  If they had it their way, you would open your Christmas presents the day after they bought them for you!

It’s because Cancers are the queens of gift giving, and they know you’ll truly love it!  It’ll be the best present ever — at least until next year!  There’s far too much enticement for a Cancer to give it to you early, so they can’t be constantly reminded of it.  They’ll be too tempted!  Keeping your gift hidden in a place that isn’t easily accessible to them will ensure they don’t bring it out and beg you to open it prematurely.  We all know how persuasive a Cancer can be when they really want you to do something!

Leo — Under the tree (wrapped, of course!)

You know Leos, they always like to be the star of the show — so it’s no surprise they’d want their Christmas gifts to be just as fawned over!  Yes, Leos will have their beautifully wrapped gifts front and center under the Christmas tree all season long. 

Always the tease, Leos will also want your curiosity to grow increasingly as each day passes.  They’ll place their gifts under the tree during the first week of December and situate them at just the right angle, so you can stare longingly at them right up until Christmas morning. 

They may even slowly edge their presents forward, bit by bit, just so you’ll notice them that much more.  But, you’ve got to admit, they do look fantastic, and the gift inside is usually spot on with what you wanted.

Virgo — The Closet

Virgos like to stick with the classics when it comes to hiding places, and — if you’ve ever dared to peer inside their closet — you’d know why it’s the perfect hiding place.   While any Virgo would willingly lend you their favorite sweater or their new bag that would match your outfit perfectly, it would only be if they were the ones who went to get it. 

A Virgo’s closet either has an elaborate organization system no one but themselves is allowed to touch — or it looks like a tornado blew through it, indiscriminately leaving devastation in its wake.  There is no in between. 

Aside from being practical and easy to get to, Virgos know they could keep your present hidden away for months, if they needed to!  You’ll either be too afraid to enter the depths of their closet or terrified you’ll mess up their system.

Libra — The Garage

The garage!  Another classic!  We would never think to look there…lol.

But traditional hiding places are what Libras do best, and they can be very sneaky when they need to be.  And your Libra knows how to utilize their space.  Knowing them, your gift will be hidden perfectly in plain sight — but because they’re so great with aesthetics, you’ll never notice!

Finding your gift in a Libra’s garage is like trying to find a needle in a haystack — good luck to you!  Your gift could be transformed into a festive garage decoration — because we all know Libras are extra enough to actually decorate the inside of their garage — or strategically placed in some obscure corner you would never think to look.

Scorpio — You’ll never know…

If your loved one is a Scorpio, good luck trying to find your present early!  No one knows what nooks and crannies their mysterious minds have cooked up to use as a hiding place!  They could be stored beneath the floorboards in their bedroom, up the chimney, or right in front of your very eyes — but you would never know it!

Scorpios are tricky masterminds.  They wouldn’t even give up their hiding spots on their deathbed — well, maybe on their deathbed, but definitely not from torture!  No, a Scorpio may take this secret to the grave — and potentially your presents with them!

But don’t worry, they’ll be up at the crack of dawn on Christmas Day to ensure your gifts magically appear under the tree before you wake up. 

Sagittarius — In a suitcase

A suitcase is such an obvious go-to place for a Sagittarius to keep things, but that’s what makes it so great!

It’s pretty ingenious of them, if you really think about it.  Sagittarius’ have so many suitcases to look through, and most of them are still only partially unpacked from their last trip — which is most likely where they bought your present in the first place!

They know you won’t want to go rifling through their underwear and socks (still dirty from last month’s getaway).  If I were you, I’d just wait until Christmas morning.  Who knows where that suitcase has been?

Capricorn — At a professional gift wrapper’s

As much as Capricorn’s love you, they don’t have the time to wrap by hand every one of your gifts.  I mean, have you seen their schedule around the holidays?  Not even Kris Kringle himself could compete.

Masters of efficiency, Capricorns will have made their list, checked it three times (take that, Santa!), and will have all their presents purchased and handed off to a gift wrapper — all with plenty of time to spare.  As well as being great time managers, they also appreciate a professional’s expertise.  They want your gifts efficiently wrapped by the best, so a professional is the logical choice!

Knowing them, they’ll have timed it perfectly so they can pick up your gifts right before Christmas Eve, just in time to be placed under the tree and before all their guests arrive for their exquisitely planned holiday party.

Aquarius — Under the bed

It’s not very original — which you’d think is so unlike our one-of-a-kind Aquarius loved ones — but let me explain…  This is your darling Aquarius’s private space.  They don’t expect you ever to go in there to search!  And it’s so well hidden, pushed under the bed, that you’ll never catch a glimpse from the doorway!   

Instead, they’ll have you searching under the house, up a tree, or through all the boxes and bins in their attic for hours — but in truth, the whole time you’re searching, your gifts will never be in danger of being spotted.  You’ll be too busy trying to imagine what fantastical places your quirky Aquarius has found for your future treasure!

It’s downright diabolical, but, hey — it’s hard to figure out an Aquarius out with mere logic!

Pisces — In the trunk of the car (and has been since last year)

Is the gift you’re getting this year actually from this year?  Who’s to say, when it comes to a Pisces!

Similar to Cancer, Pisces are very much “out of sight, out of mind” types.  They impulse buy gifts they know you will love, but then leave them in the trunk of their car and totally forget they’re there.

That’s why Pisces tend to give you so many gifts come Christmas!  It’s not because they went all out — although, you know they would!  No, odds are they’ve just found some of the gifts they forgot to give you last year (or for your birthday — oops!) and repurposed them.

You can’t blame them for their spur of the moment charm!  Just for them, that moment when they found that perfect gift may have happened sometime in February…  of last year.
